I have been on lamictal, zyprexa, and prozac for 1 week. Not skipping a dose, taking them all properly. I kinda feel this is a stupid post but whatever...

For those that don't know I asked for a full time anti-psychotic after years and years of outright refusal. If you wanted to see me have a full blown panic attack mention my name in the same sentence as Anti-psychotic. It's the best way to get me to run. Not only did I ask for it but I've taken it without *****ing or encouragement.

Zyprexa is the worst weight offender and my mirrors are "lying". They maybe have to be taken down. At least until the pdoc weighs me (I'm so not excited about that. I'm very proud of my self for taking it every day for over a week and not listining to my head.

I am also on Fluoxetine, Olanzapine, and Lamotragine, the same cocktail as you. It will take a few weeks for the Prozac to kick in. It will take much longer to titrated up the Lamictal to a therapudic dose.

IMO the Prozac/Zyprexa combo is a winning recipie. I think this combo with Lamictal is even more so effective. But then YMMV.

I figure I can make a case for me to slowly drop the lamictal and start the combined medication. Plus I'll know if it causes weight gain.

I'm not a fan of taking meds. It's quite annoying to go place to place to find the proper shape meds. If I do go off the lamictal I would want to do it in 25 mg increments giving me at least 2 months to get off lamictal. Mono treatment has always been my goal. There's a lot of new weirdness with these new med: loss of sex drive, buzzy head, overwhelmed and confused easily, after diner napping, and apathy.

No nausea, no gagging, no need to be taken with food, a longer half-life.

YEY!!!! I am so happy for you as I know you have been struggling intensely. Well done for taking charge of your mental health. You should be very proud. I hope you can continue to enjoy feeling relaxed. It must be such a relief from how you felt recently.
