i have, in the past, had a lot of scary helusinations (both visual and auditory)

1 of my most scariest i think was when this woman(with a clear intent to hurt me) she had stuff in her hand like weapons, brushed past me and sat on my bed

this was at halfpast 1 in the afternoon. it left me extremely shaken

just this morning i had 1 (but an auditory one), involving screaming and church bells

I heard air warning sirens all night once. 3-4 going off. It was like the end or something.

Just like in 'War Pigs' by Black Sabbath.

If I hear one siren, I'll hear it for hours.

I seen crowds of shadow people. Standing up and down the street waiting for a parade, jumping out from behind trees. I seen a stagecoach going down the highway, I had to slow down so I didn't run it over. Made me real paranoid because I knew it wasn't there, but it was!

Thanks for the responses. I thought maybe I was schizophrenic or something besides bipolar, so that's why I asked.
I guess this is just part of bipolar, sadly enough.

rarely. It is often when I am really tired. Last night I heard something really creepy and wrote it off as if it wasn't really there. Had a minute or so of bad anxiety though. Was so exhausted I quickly fell back to sleep. Thank goodness.

I don't know if I ever had a hallucination but once during a manic episode I was convinced that Oprah Winfrey had hired someone to follow me while I was walking down Michigan Avenue. During that walk, I saw someone in a chicken suit standing on a corner of Michigan Avenue early on a Sunday morning. My friend thinks this must have been a hallucination but who knows?

I regularly have waking hallucinations and hallucinations just as I am about to go to sleep, I am not concerned about those as they are normal even for non BP people.

Its only started after a particularly long and bad mixed episode which is interesting to me.

I have seen and heard many things that arnt there over periods of my life but it has never been diagnosed as psychosis, and only happens during episodes - usually depression, but my pdocs have given me no cause for concern.

Last thought I had that might be considered delusional is that of people injecting me in my sleep. I wake with bizarre marks and bruises which are consistent with injections I have had in the past. Im stable but still convinced they dosed me with something without my knowledge.
