I was on Wellbutrin and I had uncontrollable anger and rage. I vomited constantly. I stayed on it for two weeks. I've been off of it for two days and I still am feeling irritable with mixed states. Has anybody else had an awful experience with Wellbutrin?

Tried it for 2 weeks and gave me an upset stomach, didn't do much for depression either.

I have definitely had anger and irritability with Wellbutrin. Currently I've been off of it for a week, and the mixed state stuff is just starting to go away, the irritability is fading, and the anger is gone. I never had a problem with vomiting.

Older man here, 3 or 4 years now, maybe more, no problems. I'm on other medications. Wellbutrin made it much easier for me to stop smoking.

Yeah, I also had a bad experience with wellbutrin. Tried it twice. First time it just made me extremely anxious, with fits of rage. Second time I tried it no anxiety, but still made me angry and irritable.

Hope you find something that helps soon!

Wow, I'm just going through this right now. Three months now on Wellbutrin and I got so angry at my doctor that I no longer have one. I'm not normally given to anger but I have been outraged about the state of healthcare for months. You know when you are in the heat of battle during an argument and you feel threatened and defensive and outraged and the adrenaline is pumping? I'm like that all the time. Even though I am alone, I live my arguments over and over all my waking hours. Now I have no health care and have ruined a relationship I valued and have to go off the wellbutrin because I can't get refills now without jumping through hoops. In a few days I will run out and I'll see if I'm in better shape without it. In the last couple of weeks I've started to wonder if the Wellbutrin is part of the problem so it's interesting you brought this up now.

Twice while I was on Wellbutrin the doseage was raised in hospital just before I went home, and both times it put me into a mixed state.

Wellbutrin turned me into a psychotic, raging beyotch. It was so bad that the drug is now on my allergies list. I was running around at work throwing fits and threatening to kill a co-worker's abusive boyfriend, if that gives you any idea of how out-of-control I was. I stopped taking it because I was afraid I'd do something terrible, and then I turned into a weepy, anxious mess. This was just before I was diagnosed bipolar. I know WB works very well for most of those it doesn't send into full-blown mania, but I sure as hell will never touch it again.
