My mother's caregiver fretting over everything. At first this bothered me until I realized this is why she does a good job. So now I see it as a part of this crazy and sometimes amusing family.

I took a walk into the city centre with my girlfriend; the fresh air, the exercise, the company, all made me smile.

More kisses from my son.

My middle child trying to cajole me into playing with her while I was resting. She did some funny stuff and eventually brought a toy right over to where I was lying down. We could play then. Heh.

Seeing my husband.

A friendly clerk at 2 a.m. when I was buying gravol, gingerale for my sick kiddos.

Watching my enormous cat trying to squeeze into a tiny box-it was like the equivalent of a 24lb cat & a 5lb box.

I returned to work after a three month absence and one of my students today jumped for joy when he saw me and gave me a hug and said he missed me a lot. Another student said it was the best day ever because I'm back. Made me feel like I really do make a difference.

My cat (again) trying to hide in the closet & when I tried to pick him up (he's part Maine coon so he's reallllly big) he went completely limp like a toddler having a tantrum-had to kinda drag him out of the bedroom-he looked so hilarious & disgruntled

Today and mostly all week, I smiled every time I went outside for my breaks at work. I got a new tuque for Christmas it has cat ears and almost every time I cross someone in the hallway (I work in a hospital) someone smiles or says I like you're hat..and just to see the grin on people makes me smile and that really really helps me get a small kick.

My kittens curling up in the nook of my legs and having a wrestle made me smile. The way they mew when they want their formula makes me smile.

what made you smile today Chris Rock @ozchrisrock

How do you know you’re at your parents’ house? The wifi password is long, complicated & written on a piece of paper no one can find.
- this tweet by Chris Rock I found on twitter today. True. Just ask my son.
Thanks for this!
