Have any of you taken Risperdal for anger irritability then switched to Invega later due to Risperdal side effects? How was it?

Yes, I have and now I've been on Invega Sustenna for about 6 months and it works great.

That's great! Did you take pills first I'm guessing?

I've been on invega sustenna for about the same amount of time and it's been great. No psychosis. And I love that I don't have to remember another pill. Problem is its extreme expensive and my insurance doesn't cover it. I've been getting free samples from my treatment center. If they stop getting free samples I'll have to go back on risperdal.
Other problem is my period has stopped, which I take to mean I have raised prolactin. I haven't mentioned it because I don't want to switch medications since this is working so well.

I took risperdal tablets before, I can't remember how many milligrams but I think it was 3 but I'm on 117mg a month of Invega Sustenna which probably equals out to roughly 4mg.
