I'm pretty proud of myself. I spoke to the resources office of the company I work for and got the authorization to see a therapist for 5 free sessions. They gave me a number for a T that was in our network. I called her and left a message. This was a lot for me but I did it.

Now I'm obsessing a bit because I haven't heard back from her...rationally I know that it could take more than a half a day to get a call back but my brain is saying "She won't call." Sigh.

Oh well, I guess I will just wait and see...and celebrate that I took some steps toward taking care of myself.

Still no call back but the resource office person said if I don't get a call back within 5 business days that they will set me up with someone else...so at least it won't be starting all over if this one doesn't pan out...staying positive.

do not take it personally if no call back, she could be on vacation or what has happened to me she just lost my message and number... stick with it until you connect with someone.. a good T can really be great.. glad your reaching out..
