I'm doing so much better. The Latuda is really helping me. The irritability has gone away. Must have just been one of those side effects that go away after awhile. Glad I stuck with it! I think I just may be happy for once and not hypomanic. I'm sleeping 7-9 hours a night and have energy. I honestly can't remember the last time I felt this good.

Makes me wonder if this is what normal people feel like?

It gives me hope that it IS possible to stabilize not on the depressive end where I've been for the last few years.

The true test will be going into fall when I tend to crash. Does anyone else crash in the fall?

I'm sending out good vibes and saying prayers for all of you who are not yet stable. It never feels possible going through it, but it IS possible. *hugs*

I crash in the fall. At least, I start to fall during the fall and then get worse into Jan and Feb.

I'm so glad you are feeling better. I've only recently had a med change that has gotten me out of a long depressive episode. I hope the both of us continue on this path to being normal.

Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I'm glad to hear you are more stabile.

I do to a slight degree get affected or seem to suffer depression during winter.

I hope this is not so for you.

I should start by stating that I was mostly stable to start with. All and all I would say I noticed a difference after a few days, BUT I dealt with bad irritability for a couple of weeks. Probably took about a month to get where I am.

I've noticed no increase in appetite on it and no weight gain so far.

Side effects: headache and nausea the first few days, then lots of irritability. None now.
