So I told my T yesterday how my depressions are different than they used to be. Last month I was IP in a mixed episode. Its hell, I say! Hell! He said, like a friend I had here, that I am probably have mixed states and not just depressions. Id take a regular depression over mixed any day. Makes me wonder if I have rapid cycling.

But looking deeper, I find myself thinking Im not bipolar 1. I don't think I have ever had a full blown mania. I guess maybe hypomania.

I am just pleased that I have been a great mood for two weeks now. My sleep has been off for a few days now. Not sure whats up with that. T says maybe if it continues I need to talk to pdoc about it but the 600mg gabapentin I take was for sleep mostly. No clue why its not helping LOL

Im rambling. Lots of thoughts in my head. Thought after thought. Song after song.

(((HALLIBETH87))) Yes!! Mixed episodes are rough! I'm happy to hear you have been in a great mood for the last two weeks. Hypo mania likes to steal sleep. I hope you get some rest soon. Once the episode passes your sleep should return, but definitely talk to p-doc if it doesn't. Be well!!!

I am sorry to hear that you are not sleeping.

For me, personally, when my sleep cycle goes out of synch, it throws my mood state all over the place and can be quite unsettling.

I hope that you are able to find some rest.

Take it easy.

(((HB))) I'm so glad you were able to sleep before your next appointment with your p-doc. A month w/o sleep would have been a long time.
Thanks for this!
