I keep waking up every night between 1 and 3 am. Mind racing... My thoughts keep going about stuff that I don't worry about or really even matter to me during regular daytime hours. Does anyone else experience this? Sometimes I sleep great, but right now I am wide awake, but know I will be dragging later on today. Terrible cycle I am in right now.

I am sorry to hear that you struggling with sleep.

It's a challenge when this happens to us.

Yes......there's nothing like the power of the racing mind to keep us awake.

My racing thoughts just keep rolling.

What my thoughts are can either be irrelevant.

Or sometimes for me, personally, there are significant thoughts.

I tend to get very anxious when I have a racing mind.

And I think that's why I may possibly perceive my thoughts to be issues that I do worry about during waking hours.

I agree.

It's a terrible cycle.

Hang in there.

Yes, this seems to happen every time I try to go to sleep before 1 am (but that's too late). I have awful anxiety in the middle of the night as well as during the day.

I have anxiety everyday, but the thoughts that come at night seem so far removed from the worries I have during the day. I see my MH professional in a couple weeks and hopefully he will refill my Zanex or Ativan script. Those help day and night.
