I'm so sorry that happened to you. Don't you wish you could just make people understand? I'm certain it is sad and frustrating to have to experience such rejection over something you have no control over.

I actually private messaged someone who had posted a link about tv shows depicting bipolar and in that message I told her (someone I haven't seen since high school) that I didn't fully agree with the article and that I was bipolar. She wrote back saying she also had bipolar! I had to laugh- go figure. Then I wonder how many other of my 300 "friends" on facebook have bipolar, depression, eating disorders, etc. Sometimes I want to fully share just to have people that I know in real life as a support system.
