Ugh. I hate the feeling of circling the drain. Feeling REALLY down today with no one to talk to.

I feel like I'm completely worthless and useless. Fat. Ugly. I wish I could convince myself I'm not, but the down feeling is so bad I simply don't have the strength. :-(

I'm here with you gloamingone, I'm totally down in the dumps today also. Super lonely, super worthless, feeling like I let down my daughter constantly and feeling beyond ugly. Let's hope this day passes fast and tomorrow's at least liveable.

While I'm not happy you're feeling down, I feel less lonely knowing someone else feels this way. My friend told me to just go take a walk. Helloooo!!! I'm crying too hard to take a walk!

It's so weird, not only is that good advice, but it would make us feel better. However.....the thought of exiting my house feels worse than my self loathing. It's awesome to have friends who have good intentions, but it still feels like they just don't get it.
Thanks for this!

My favorite saying that I use all the time is it's easier said then done we all know going outside, meeting up with friends, socializing, etc could make us feel better, and it most likely will at least a small small bit. As always oh boy! We know this is easier said then done. The effort to do these things is unbearable sometimes especially when looking into the pit of depression. Hang in there! There's always a light at the top of this pit. Don't give up on that climb to the top usually once there you go what the heck was I thinking then! Gotta love the cycle and it's indecisiveness.
Thanks for this!

I have those days or weeks. I was just in a paranoid, scared episode. I try my hardest to remember that it will pass. I won't feel that way forever...doesn't always work, but just an idea.

Hope you get to feeling better.

gloamingone and Mrs. Mania, I'm with you circling the drain. I have been in a bad funk since Monday most noticeably. It really, really sucks to feel this helpless. I did call my pdoc, so we'll see if he can work a miracle lol. And yes, it does feel good to know I'm not alone in this one.

I see my Pdoc tomorrow as well--for my severe chronic insomnia. So far he hasn't said much about it, but I'm gonna corner him this time.
