I have been experiencing a bit of anxiety lately....very generalized...not about a single thing, though I do have stressors in my life (taking a different job, working out my 2 week notice), but the anxiety is strangely not about that.
That excites me. Also though, I have been having a down week, where I have been feeling rather depressed and tired, even with the anxiety. I think maybe the constant anxiety is what is driving the depression and the desire to sleep through the anxiety. I have also been feeling very much like I am not getting things done that I need to get done, despite my wife's assurances that I am. Which may be a result of anxiety issues, the constant feeling like I am not being productive. IDK....feeling trapped by these feelings.

I'm sorry you're feeling so anxious. I don't know what meds you take but sometimes short term use of a benzo like klonopin can help ease it. I take it when needed for intense anxiety. I made a 30 day script last 60 days so it doesn't mean you have to take it all the time and become dependent on it.
If you're already on a benzo try to do relaxing things for me it helps to be aware of my breathing and light a scented candle. Taking a hot shower helps too. I'm sorry I really can't think straight so that's the best I have. Just trying to say you're not alone.
