Ever since I've been out of hospital I've been getting huge memory gaps which isn't the first time and I was pretty manic when I had it before. I just can't seem to grasp where I put my stuff. For example. I've put my ecig in my bag yesterday and I forgot that I ever put it in my bag and was looking for it on the couch. I am forgetting where I am putting things (and most of the time I am putting stuff in odd places like putting my cell phone in the bathroom) and it's really frustrating on my part and my parents . I am not depressed though just really annoyed hahaha.

Does anyone else get huge memory gaps?

Yes! I do this when manic, when on certain medications (like Zyprexa), and, to some extent, I think it's just because of my bipolar.

I get really ADD when I'm manic. In fact, right before my first full blown mania I was convinced I had ADD because I couldn't concentrate, kept losing things, et cetera. Losing my ecig was the most annoying though! I started just keeping it in my bra cause I would lose it multiple times a day and then rip apart my apartment trying to find it!

Everyone laughs at my absent mindedness. I've got so much going against me in the memory department that it's truly frustrating. I've got a big hole in my life with a bunch of small ones. Drugs (legal and illegal) and alcohol didn't help. Being manic is like ADHD- going so fast that things don't have time to register. I have missing time because of switching in between alters has its own special effects. A lot of the time I go into a dissociative trance, it's like walking in a fog and coming to hours later and miles away.

Around and around in circles she goes, where she stops, nobody knows!
