decades ago, I was warned not to "Romance" my depression.

When I'm depressed, I tend to listen to sad music, watch unhappy films, and cry a lot. I think it's a way for me to process emotions, not wallow in them. NOt that it matters, I cry even more during happy films if I'm depressed. For all sorts of reasons, happy things are worse for me.
