If you do, when do you take it, and what experiences have you had with it?

I was misdiagnosed with unipolar depression for decades, given Cymbalta alone from 2000 to 2011 until I crashed. It was the most destructive time of my life. Without a mood stabilizer it shot me into orbit. It negatively affected my urinary tract as a whole and was sexual death for me. Now we know giving an antidepressant alone without a mood stabilizer to someone truly bi-polar is a big mistake...but that info wasn't out there then.

I recently started taking it. For depression haven't noticed much of a change but I was also recently increased in dosage to 120. I use to have lower back pain that lingered but since I started taking cymbalta it has disappeared. So it definetly has an impact on me for pain at least. I usually take it at night with my latuda.

I take 120mg for depression and fibro. I love it. It got me out of a really bad depression that upping my Prozac sent me into. I take it at night.

I take 60 mg for depression and fibromyalgia. I take it at night.

It works great for the fibro pain. It worked really well for the depression for a couple of years then it stopped. My doctor added 15 mg Remeron to it and that seems to have kickstarted it - the combo works well.

I was taking 60mg for fibro & bipolar depression, recently upped to 120 and it's more effective (I think it's making me hypomanic) but causes constipation. I've taken it both at morning and night and it doesn't seem to make a difference. No other side effects and it works great for fibro.

I took it and it gave me really bad night terrors. I had to eventually stop it.

I have tried Cymbalta when my pdoc used to think I have unipolar depression, but we later figured that I am bipolar. I think that if you are on Cymbalta, you should also be on some sort of mood stabilizer or atypical antipsychotic perhaps

I posted almost the same thing in another post. It worked great at 60mg. It was prescribed for fibro pain, depression, and anxiety. It helped with all but it great for the fibromyalgia more than anything. I'm tapering off now due to insomnia. I cannot fall asleep for anything while on this.
