Hey all,

Quick question:

Given I never get insomnia, the last few nights I have been unable to sleep. Not even tired, but I KNOW I must sleep cuz I am afraid what my day will be like without it (regardless of whether it truly ends up bad).

My mind is going a mile a minute...normally I am napper and I ahven't been able to even that. Just my mind constantly on go.

haven't had any more caffeine that usual.

But I don't feel overly manic. My wife says I ahve been louder/more obnoxious that normal....

thoughts.

Mania or hypomania. I work night shift and been getting 4 hours a day of sleep even one day just 1 hourHypomania and sleep
But I'm on lithium and it works! So I can actually not sleep much and not have too bad of an episode, if I even get one...maybe racing thoughts and small symptoms

The only solution that works for me is too "turn my brain off" ,benadryl works for me , ... also use xanex when that fails , and of course some nights nothing helps ... wishing you well ... and sleep ...
