we all know self care is hard, sometimes we feel like we're not worth it, or we can't bring ourselves to see the positives

so this thread exists to post things we did today to care for ourselves (even little things)

like for me, today i wore a diffrent shirt. (and that's my self care for today)

There has been construction in my apartment and I am tried of moving furniture for it. There will be more. So I put wheels on two of my heaviest pieces as felt pads didn't stop my floor from being scratched and I had new flooring. Now I am going to go through the contents of one piece and do some serious tossing out which is very hard for me to do.
Thanks for this!

well... the way it works is the website is organized by "tracks," so u can choose what u want to focus on, however to stay on target u get only one track at a time... some of the tracks are: "exploring emotions," "balanced diet," and my first track on the site "stress relief." currently am doing "finding fulfilment"...

so basically... once, every day, you get a challenge prompt based on the track u chose... very simple and nearly always doable, very easy and can usually lead to some interesting changes... the idea is to make small steps toward ur goals without feeling like its a drag...

and whenever u like, u can switch tracks and move on to whatever u want to focus on next...

positive community, for sure...

hope u get to try it...!
Thanks for this!

I actually wrote in my journal this morning. I've been slacking on that lately (like for the last month!). I ate more than just a banana and peanut butter today too. Had a piece of pizza. Yea!

I knew it would be cold at work (it went down to +1 celcius last night), so I put on my warmest, coziest hoodie, and all day I've felt like I've been wrapped in a warm hug

I downloaded 3 music tunes onto my Kindle, 1 old, 2 brand new songs. I know that they have encouraging messages in them, so they should help.

Also I'm bringing my nylon jacket to work, so I won't be feeling sicker.

I've read several spirituality-related self help books written by a renown spiritual teacher, Eckhart Tolle.

It offers me new and mostly practical insights on overcoming negative issues happening in the real world. Whether it be Borderline personality disorder or bipolar disorder, I find myself having no desire to visit a therapist for a diagnosis. Maybe I am feeling "normal" or maybe I may have overcame some mental obstacles through reading this book?

I don't know...I have people saying that not everything in the book is right, but I read the book with an open mind to understand how much I can assist myself in recovery.

I would recommend " The Power of Now " and " A New Earth " by Eckhart Tolle for you guys, any feedbacks on my VM would be appreciated.

niiiice... i have heard tolle is a great author...
im one to believe that regardless of whether something is good or bad advice, even by just listening to it, u can still get ur own insights.... so as long as something makes sense to u about it, ur fine..... congrats!... if ur interested in more insights for spirituality... i recommend joseph campbell...! very curious stuff... try reading myths to live by....

Today I made plans to spend time with two really good friends of mine I haven't seen in a couple of weeks. I will see them next week.

their's nothing wrong with bird spotting

birds are nice and make people happy- because they look beautiful, they sing, and they are so carefree. flying around from tree to tree without a care in the world. if only we lived our lives as birds, huh?

i used to have a budgie- was lovely to listen to in the mornings. flying around the cage and chirping. sadly it died- and it left me wondering how birds can be so happy 1 minit, and then the next, dead at the bottom of the cage

anyway enough about that..

today i drank a lot of fluid- so my mouth didn't have to feel dry
