I've spent time just laying on the couch trying to calm my anxiety. It doesn't seem to be helping but I'm trying.

bought three "new" secondhand shirts that made me happy and some clippies to hold back some of my hair until it grows long enough again for a ponytail.

ive been cooking some interesting and healthy meals lately... today was breaded chicken parm, sauteed mushrooms, and a green bean almond salad.... not only do i rarely cook, but i never tried to cook any of this, nor have i ever tried mushrooms or green beans. overall, great dinner and loved every bit of it...

awesome!!!!...

thats what ive been working on lately... i found that cutting back on how much i eat overall has helped... i think its because veggies fill stomachs up more, so its harder to take bites when ur stomach is feeling stable.... also, adding something u normally like but also healthy is a good way to transition...

ive tried some seriously wild stuff lately, for the first time too!... just eat mindfully, let urself sit in the taste and enjoy hahaha.... music and incenses help too... good luck! dont let the taste stop u, keep trying!

-----

let's see... i went out for a walk early today... enjoying the scenery... my neighborhood is decent... early mornings have birds flying and chirping everywhere... really fun to listen to while just walking...

later today, ill be practicing yoga since i didnt get to go to the gym yesterday... ive been feeling pretty limber lately, finally, so it helps to have something to keep me that way...

My son just stopped by the kitchen on a failed mission-raid-fridge-before-dinner-without-mom-noticing. He was not impressed with the concoction either...oh well, maybe it still can be rescued if I add a little beef. Must be the magic ingredient missing.Sounds like you are doing well in the exersise department. Wow

hahaha!... i try not to do that, it always feels so tempting... its like, oh why not just one snack... and very rarely, i allow it (something healthy though), but only once in a very royal blue moon... more often, im drinking water; occasionally i chew gum... i notice food tastes a whole lot better now, since i sit down to savor everything, which really adds to the meal... and yeah, i dont think i could eat sauteed mushrooms alone, only if i add something like chicken, steak, or salmon, some sort of meat... the green beans though... that was amazing, and could definitely add it to anything...

i heard somewhere that the magic ingredient is "love"...
in other words, loving what ur cooking up... as ridiculous as that sounds, i think the effort, along with mentality, that i put into my recent meals has helped me enjoy them more...

i was always fit... but with a lot of the problems i have been facing this year, i would go on and off in my routines... right now, i just got back into the gym...

went to gym today, got home, went out for a brisk walk a few minutes after resting... got back, took a lukewarm-cold shower, now im feeling amazingly relaxed and ready to work on everything today... but being back in the gym, yes, it makes me feel like im doing well...
Thanks for this!

Went to the gym for the first time sine starting my new job 3 weeks ago. At least I'm still in good-ish shape because it's a standing/walking job.

Usually I'm good if I do a couple of the basics...take a shower, change clothes, eat something good or bad, and walk my dogs....this one I always do no matter what. I love them. They are the only thing keeping me going right now.

I made a promise to myself to quit drinking last week and I haven't had a drop since that promise.
