When I enter a depressed phase, I find I write more and more; in fact, my day is filled with long posts on discussion forums to the exclusion of almost everything else while any other time, I am usually a little reserved in my posting response length and frequency.
Anyone else ever notice similar behaviour?

I find that I am a bit like that myself. But then I just get too fatigued and paranoid to post anything, and can't even drag myself to the open my laptop... But yes, when I am not completely out of it and spending half of the the day under the covers, PC is a good place to be. I think during hard times I find PC especially useful, therefore more posts. Lately I have started to get more active here, after having had a long break. And I am feeling pretty ok and stable lately...

I've noticed that with me as well. Now that I'm coming out of my depression, I don't post as much.

I find that I write almost everywhere when depressed, including my blog.

Coming here when I am depressed and posting helps me get through some of the hard times. When I am well, I don't tend to show up as much. I also journal a lot when I'm depressed.
