If you know me eating is rare today I've been eating and cooking, cooking while eating, eating while cooking. Never full always looking for something else to eat. From eggs to cake to cookies to tater tots, now chicken but I'm not getting full. I need to stop bUT it feels like I haven't ate. Is this a sign I'm going up?

I binge eat. When I am starting to get manic I non-stop eat, I will even eat in my sleep (I sleep-walk).
I never feel full

ive been controlling the way i eat for about 3-4 months now... no problems whatsoever until recently... where, because i allowed my mother to cook for me, i started losing that balance.... so i began noticing my stomach feeling empty even though i ate a full meal just minutes ago...

times like these, i acknowledge the fact that i clearly ate just a while back... so my stomach is definitely not empty... its my mind tempting me... so, simply put, im not going to listen, like i havent listened for 4 months straight... water, maybe a fruit, chewing gum. nothing else until the next day... i already ate what my body needed to function properly, so no reason to give into my temptations...

I'm full blown bulimic however I used my addiction to food to cope with my boredom and thoughts. It's a very bad cycle to get out of. I've read it's pretty typical in ppl with BPD. I have that along with BP2. My dr just put me on a med called vyvance that is typically for ADD. But since it's a stimulant and wipes out your appetite so it's now being used for binge eating disorder. It is working, yet at the same time I know it's a stimulant and with my history, I'm afraid I'll get hooked.

Food to cope with my boredom and thoughts. This is what I'm doing. I'm so bored, but my husband won't allow me my sleeping medicine because I am sleeping. He's also afraid I'll acidently od on it. I feel sick today. Today is officially my first day without caffeine! We'll see if that helps.

Why won't he let you have them? Are they psych meds? Tired or not, if they say to take at bed time then take them. I learned the hard way by taking them as needed only. Not good

Youre eating sugar and salt - those kindsa things trigger me to eat more and more. But if i exercise a lot and eat more blander type foods, im not as hungry. No coffee?? Not even decaf?? Ive been going without chocolate for about 10 days now except for mocha lattes - i couldnt do no coffee!! More power to ya!!

wow, thats a good point... maybe the reason i was starting to lose control with my diet was because of the types of food i ate. that gives me a good idea on what foods to avoid next time then... i will have to look up what foods can cause this for me...

thanks unaluna!!!
