Does anyone else have constant visual hallucinations? My anti-psychotic meds have not made them go away. Right now they are pretty benign but still there. It upsets me a lot. I don't want to be seeing the walls and floors moving around.

I don't have this problem, but is there any chance that your meds could be contributing to this? Maybe a bad reaction to them??

I recommend you discuss this with your doctor and give it a week for the antipsychotics to kick in. Best wishes..

I have been on some form of antipsychotics for years actually. I just called my psych nurse's office and they didn't say much. I'm trying to get back into the partial hospitalization program in my area. I've been dealing with this since I was 18 and it's getting worse

I don't have visual hallucinations. Sorry. They must be annoying.

I experience this all the time. I see images and colors in the darkness and shadows of things. I see ripples that go through my vision along the surface of things, much like a wave of water. I see objects breath and ooze around. I see symmetrical geometric patterned shapes tiled that moves, changes shapes and colors. When hypo, I see a vivid kaleidoscope of rainbow colors that change, especially in the darkness. The floor and walls move around. When I'm really hypo anxious, a period on a paper will grow excitedly moving hair and roam around a spot on the paper.

When it's really bad, I just sit there in a daze watching. I've tried APs and they don't work. I'm kinda used to it though. Sometimes when I'm bored, I just watch it like a free acid trip...quite the show. But for the most part, I just ignore it and pay it no mind. But every now and then it'll catch my eye.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I think we may have talked about this before...What you're describing is sounds so much like what I experience. Sometimes I see the floor or walls breathing or undulating, and also see ripples and waving motions on solid objects. It's so weird...I used to think I had special powers or something and got involved in the new age community as a result. Weird stuff. It bothers me a lot. All I want is for it to go away. Sometimes I wonder what it all means but then I realize I can't go down that road.

Yes, I thought the same about us talking, but it sounded like we might of forgot because I know I did!

I'm actually glad to see that someone else sees the same thing that I see because I'm worried that I might of self inflicted this 30 years ago when I was a teenager tripping acid. After studying the half life of psychedelics, it says it is just a matter of days for the body to break it down. I think it just made me aware of it.

Another told me that it's a symptom of derealization, but I really don't know. It would be nice if someone else was to step up and say so.
Thanks for this!

I have also wondered the same because I have done a fair amount of acid and a bunch of other drugs too several years ago. I would love to know other people's experience of visual hallucinations, and audio too. (I hear music playing sometimes and muffled or far off voices)

I don't have audibles. I don't have specific hallucinations like people, objects, or things.

The ones I've found that describes it are "non-specific" hallucinations.

Come to think about it, I described my visuals to my new pdoc and she agreed that beepers can have these types of hallucinations.
