Tonight, I'm not sure if I'm safe or not and I want to know what his plans are for me to go IP. For instance, can he do a direct admit or will I have to wait in the ER? Where does he want me to go? Should I just wait until tomorrow? What do you guys think? It's alrady a little after 8 PM here.

I would contact him so if you get to an unsafe point you know what will happen and what to do.

Glad you are doing this. I know it is so, so hard.

I hope you get some answers quickly; I know worrying about logistics around an admission never helps me.

How are feeling now? Has your doctor got back to you? Thinking of you.

Thanks for asking. I'm so not well. I just snuggled my oldest daughter so tightly after her bed time and reminded myself that if anything happened to me my youngest daughter won't even remember me. I have so much guilt rummaging through my head right now but that is a very good thing. My husband is sleeping downstairs. I did call my mom, woke her up, but I told her I was scared and she talked me down some. My pdoc did not get back to me but I'm sure he will in the morning. I just want to be better.

I'll be on here until probably 3 or so if you need to talk. I'll watch my email for alerts.

You can always go to the ER if you need to. I know you know that very obvious statement but sometimes it helps me to hear very obvious things when I'm in a bad place.

If he doesn't get back to you by this evening maybe you need to just go? I think that if you, cashart10, are saying you need to be IP that you need to get there and not wait. Because it's not like you want to choose IP regularly.

Yeah. Just go if you need to. Don't wait for your doctor.

My dr has implied that it is harder to get a direct admit now. I think insurance wants people to go in through the ER. So chances are good you will be going that way anyway and honestly the sooner you go to the ER the calmer it will be. Around here the biggest hospital is the best place to go but I have no idea how consistent that is; in general that's true though b/c teaching hospitals have more money and better doctors.
