So I just had my pdoc app today and he's started me on a new med. The lamitical is replacing Zoloft.
I just wanted to know everyone's experiences with lamitical.

I switched from respirdol to lamictal and I saw a great improvement in my overall being. Not a miracle but nice.

I just started taking Lamictal myself. I haven't been on it long enough to feel the effects, but my pdoc told me there's a possibility of getting a rash, albeit a low chance. She also said it usually takes a few months before it starts working.

I've been on it for about a month and a half. I felt a difference around day 20-25 with the 50mg dosage. Now I"m at 200mg and it is glorious - I have my energy back, my thoughts are positive, and I am interested in hobbies again. Watch out on missing a dose though, when I did it sent me down fast and I didn't recover until 3-4 days later. Best of luck to you!

I've been on Lamictal for about a year and a half. I've had good luck with it. The only thing to watch out for is the rash. It can be very dangerous but it's uncommon. If you do get a rash though, stop taking it and contact your doctor right away.

Started taking it in 2013 for SAD. It took my depression away. I still take it 400 MG. Took a while to work because the titration takes a while. Started working at abt 200 MG

I've been on it for over four years now. I like it. No side effects. I don't know if it's working as well for me anymore. Not sure if it's still doing anything.

I have been on Lamictal for 4 years now. I love it. The only the side effects I had was itching when I titrated up. I am currently on 200mg.

I was on it for a year and I liked it. It was only when I had my last IP that I was switched to Depakote. I may go back to my pdoc and have her titrate me to a higher level.

Been on it since I was diagnosed nine years ago. I've had no side effects and it's been positive in regulating my moods. I'll never come off of it.
