I've waited two weeks for my gabapentin to come in the mail. I ran out today. I've decided to just quit taking it. It'll save me money on paying for yet another med.

I hope you do okay with out it. I take it at night and if I run out and don't have it for two or three days I have trouble sleeping.

Good to know what it's for - there are so many medicines out there! Good luck with everything and take care.

You should update on how it goes and if you have withdrawal and what it's like.

I could see how dropping it wouldn't cause much issues. I question how much it really helps with anxiety. The only issue I really have if I quit taking it is sleeping. I normally only take 800mg before bed. Sometimes I'll take an additional 400mg during the day if I'm anxious.

Keep us posted and good luck.

I take 400mg 3 times daily. It does help with the anxiety but not as much as an AP.

Well I'm lamictal, rexulti, Wellbutrin and remeron too so I think I'll be fine. Ima cut down on the 600 at night for a few days before quitting!
