I am seriously drawing a blank. I was thinking about all the meds I've been on and I can't even remember them anymore. I know I've been on almost all of them, except for newer ones, since my meds really haven't changed in the past 5 years, except for the addition of Saphris in June. I used to have a sheet with all the meds and the outcomes, but that was 5 years ago. I know when my pdoc contested the insurance company not filling my provigil that there was around 40 meds on the sheet. Might have been more. Who knows? My memory is really failing lately. Oh well.

I haven't been on meds long so remembering them and all the bombs that were duds aren't hard to do. My favorite form of medication used to be the one that I got down the street in itty bitty baggies.

I've kept an ongoing list of meds and reactions. I am not sure every med I've tried is on there but it lists 40 meds and 69 combinations (without including dose changes). So clozaril in a few weeks if that happens will be 70 combinations and at least 41 meds. Plus the vitamins that help with energy and all the meds for side effects. So much medication that it's hard for me to wrap my mind around it.

First I was on lamictal, then tegretol, then tegretol and wellbutrin, then wellbutrin and abilify, then wellbutrin, zyprexa, and prozac, then just zyprexa and prozac, then prozac and geodon, then prozac and latuda, then back on prozac and zyprexa, then zyprexa, prozac, and lamictal, then lamictal and saphris, then lamictal and risperdal, then (my current cocktail) lamictal, risperdal, and zoloft.
Wow!! I really should have found something that works by now, lol.

Saphris got me out of a bad mixed episode and has kept me pretty stable. It's a sublingual so you stick it under your tongue and wait for it to melt. It tastes horrible, but I've found that if I keep my mouth shut for 15 mins after taking it and don't move my tongue around, not much of it gets to the top of my tongue. I've gotten used to the taste though.
