New to PsyCen.... Finding dating in my 40's is certainly different than in college. Adding to it, being divorced, actively keeping the BP2 in check, and dating in midlife, it's not nearly as easy, relaxing, and fun as I expected. What have been your experiences? Any advice? Any success online/offline (eHarmony vs introductions through friends)? What works?

I am going on a first date this weekend with someone I met on an online dating site. I have not talked about my bipolar, and I don't think I will need to unless we see each other more. I have been toying with "coming clean" on the first date, but I want to see where it goes. Maybe second or third date would be good. I don't want to start to fall for a guy who will see my illness as a deal breaker and I also don't want a guy to start to fall for me and then find out I am "un-datable."
