Hi fellow Bipolar friends,

I have not been here as much recently because I am feeling quite well and have been more stable than I had been for a long time. I primarily attribute this to Lamictal which seems to have put me on an even keel.
At this point I am only taking 100 mg of Lamictal a day. Since I seem to be doing okay for the time being the pdoc and I are inclined to leave it there. If I start to get that raciness, I will let the pdoc know so we can raise it or whatever.

This time I am vey conscious of the fact that at some point my combination will stop working for me. Maybe not, but if past occurrences are any indication, I will suffer more hypomanic and depressed episodes

This has made me act more like someone who has been told they only have six months to live. Which maybe is how we should always be living, but that is another discussion. Anyway in the past I always thought good I found the right combination, and I will never get depressed again and I have all the time in the world. Now I know better, and am using my time like it is very, very valuable. I think coming here and answering other people's posts and posting myself are very valuable which is why I started back again recently. Prior to that however I had been trying to make up for lost time with my daughter and husband, something I will continue to do.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank all the people who come here and give support to other people. For me it has been invaluable and I plan to try and follow the great precedent of those who came before me and will come after me.
