Hi everyone.
I took this medication about 12 yrs ago for about 4 years. It was one of the hardest drugs I ever got off of in my life.
Also hard was Cymbalta.
If you're on GABA be very careful. You may be different but my experience was worse than bad.

It was hard to get off. Like worse than trying to get off pain pills.
I don't know. The chemical make-up of the drug and your receptors in your brain. Nothing I could take would relieve the fright, Anxiety, and nervousness I experienced withdrawing from this drug. I would never ever take it again.

If you need to get off, ask MD for tapering advice.

It's been offered to me by my pdoc, but I'm scared of any kind of weight gain, even though it's supposed to be weight neutral. Is that a normal reaction when discontinuing it? Why did you stop? Was it just not working anymore. Cymbalta took me 6 months to get off! It was BRUTAL!

Really? I went off 2400 mg a day cold turkey and nothing! Not an ounce of withdrawal

I came off a high dose cold turkey without problems and have missed several days of my current 400 mg dose without problems as well.

I've been on it 4 years. Hoping I don't have major problems if I ever go off of it!
