This test is designečd to evaluated a quality of life. My results: Satisfaction Levels (score range: 4-20) Home (Learn more) 10 Sleep (Learn more) 12 Leisure (Learn more) 13 Physical (Learn more) 14 Self-esteem (Learn more) 15 Spiritual (Learn more) 16 Money (Learn more) 16 Independence (Learn more) 16 Mood (Learn more) 17 Cognition (Learn more) 19 Relationships (Learn more) 20 Identity (Learn more) 20 Work (Learn more) 20 (yes, those are pretty impressive. Been doing quite well lately, objectively). Note: The independence thing for me was pretty difficult. Sure I feel freedom to do whatever (hey, I was picketing Putin's friend on Monday and it was lots of fun and police gently chased away the Russian "could you go aside, you are standing in the road, car could run you over"), but i am also not feeling safe, all of the reasons that have NOTHING to do with bipolar. Also i am offended about the questions how tidy is my place. I have two jobs and activism, ain't got no time to tidy and run around with dust sweeper (which I am ashamed to admit i actually own, but I only bought it cause i liked the colors). But otherwise, it's interesting and I think valuable, because it looks at all the factors there are. And it gives you advice at the end how to improve the certain areas. (still i disagree messiness is symptom of depression. Messiness is symptom of being bohemian philosoper and anti-hausfrau

The messiness is a signal to watch for. No, Not all messiness has deep meaning or sign of a issue. Some people just don't like to vacuum. I haven't ever ironed a garment of my own, but I do care about my appearance.
However messiness turned into hoarding definitely is a huge mental issue. I believe the reason that not cleaning is asked on functionality tests is to look for hoarding and other with managing their environment issues, some with OCD, etc. While this question might not mean anything in your life, there are others that it could be very beneficial. |

I guess it should be viewed in context if it's "normal for you".

Self-esteem and Independent(spirit) score were high for me, other than that, I already know some bipolar traits, I don't even wanna look at them. I'm just not goal oriented person, I know to myself that at some point soon, I need to get that skill to go upward in life. I'm just not at a stage in life to micro manage my life, possibly ever want to do that.
'Normal for me' and my lifestyle that I dream about. They don't jibe with scoring, or someone trying to show me my satisfaction level, This computerized 'test' only tells me that I need to get my laptop/internet environment sorted out. I agree with some of the points DesiginingWoman made, I just feel that I need to pay more attention to learn about OCD while I hang around here so I can learn, anyhow, this thoughts is for another time, another place I guess. Home/Sleep/Leisure time/quality. Can you improve those V? Maybe you're satisfied with that score? Hmm,,,I just took the test and posting this. Especially, Cognition/Sleep, I want to read up on those. Thanks for the post, take care. |

My low score with leisture is that I lately (it asked about last week), didn't have as much time as i would want to.
Sleep is a problem, not much there be done there. Home? I am not hausfrau, so as long as nothing's crawling out, i am happy. Most of my problems now are not BP related, but they are pretty pressing and messing me up.

Well, I just love to see another travelling posts of yours or something, actually, I feel that I need to read all of your posts, that should be one of my goal this year, and here's where the problem of my cognitive skills come in.
The website looks pretty good!! Quote:

I haven't looked at the link, I just want to say, some people are just messy people. I am, and it's certainly not from being bipolar! Even as a child I was messy. It is true that when I'm more depressed, I am messier, but my rooms and apartments have never been what one would consider "neat".
