I need options to partial and IP. It's getting outta control...the depression that is. I'm afraid that regular outpatient isn't gonna cut it but afraid that partial will lead to IP which I dont want and wont do. Absolute refusal to do IP ever again is coming from me.
Any ideas? Any?? Please! |

So do everything in your power to have patience. The med mg change may take a little time to activate.
Keep posting. I never want ip again either.

Do you have health insurance or means? If you do, I would consider IP in a private facility for 4-6 weeks. It's far better than IP in like a public hospital or any of that 72 stabilization stuff. You could get a full new treatment plan, care team, and lots of therapy to help you. Good luck, moogs

I was in your shoes not too long ago (like 3 weeks ago). I was feeling horribly depressed and I wanted to die.
I had called my pdoc and he increased my Latuda dosage from 40mg to 60mg. It took me about 10 days from that dose increase before I fully recovered from my depression. Hope your new med adjustment works out for you. I would definitely give it a week or two before it fully kicks in, which I know is hard to be patient with. |

I have medicaid and extremely less than desirable finances. Private hospital isn't going to happen anytime soon. Thanks. |

Mines worse than just wanting to die. This dose increase needs to work fast but we'll see. I'm trying to have patience but it's wearing thin, very thin. |
