Since this depression hit me, I can't take a nap.
Have to sleep with the TV on plus several different pills:
Xanax, trazodone and now remeron.

I close my eyes and start seeing people I don't care about, places, arguments,
things that I've done wrong, etc.
Can't force myself to see a nice place, or nice people, or my kids. It's very hard to even see Jesus. Everything is so mixed up.
Any remedy for this?.

What do you see?

i see the outline of light that capture my most recent vision, then i hear sounds around me, then i get bored and fantasize about doing things that i cant in real life

try visualizing your brains neural connections, and then disassemble them. it might help relax your thoughts
Thanks for this!

It's not what I see but what i think about. I have to use meds and have the TV on for something to listen to so I can stop the anxious thoughts. Maybe the light is coming in and making your visions more noticeable? I sleep with a sleep mask on too and it helps.

I've been using the sleeping mask for years. I lower the volume so all I get is noise. Otherwise I pay attention and the meds fade.

I know you enjoy knowing about med tweaks. Here it goes.
I took the Lamotrigine at night. Along with the Lithium.
Lowered the Trazodone to 50mg from 75mg.
Took 7.5mg of Remeron for the 1st time.
Now I'm afraid to take the xanax. Even if it's only .75mg.
Wish me luck.

I think you'll be ok with the small amount of Xanax. But see if the traz and remeron work first. If my meds absolutely will not work then I take 2 ativan (2 mg but I'm more sensitive to Xanax). Traz actually does nothing to me. Makes my eyes heavy but still don't fall asleep on 100mg. Good luck!

I don't see things when I close my eyes. Depressed.
When I'm more hypo I visualize projects complete.

I do have a little ritual. I lay down on towels in bed right after a shower. Then I imagine how the water felt on my skin. For about 5 min.
