She makes me feel like I have a purpose to being in bed all day.
I'm watching her sleep. It gives me peace. So I don't feel guilty about not doing stuff. I can not bring her to the states,nor can I get a pet there. Too much travel. The city is not a great place for pets compared to the ranch life they lead here. I take photos of her. I don't want to dwell on it. I've been here 5 months. One month left. It seems to be zooming by. She's my little lover. Even purrs when I brush her now. She talks too. Omg. I'm just going to enjoy her and worry later how I'll feel without her. And my dog too.

I'm creating stonger memories. Taking my dog to the beach. Running with her in the surf.
Still having problems with the running away. My caretaker and I gave her some freedom and poof she's gone this am. We know where she goes. There's this neighbor about 46 acres away. He adores her. Lets her come inside his house. Probably even sleeps in his bed. Here she's an outdoor dog. She has the pool house, but doesn't come in the house or apartment. Spoiled brat.

Cats are so sensitive. Like they know about everything that's behind that façade. No need to explain: accepting like that. The opposite of many psychiatrists.
Dogs I don't have much experience with. They seem to me pretty stoic, so maybe stabilising? Also much like your typical doctor: "oh, is that all! I've seen worse." All pussycats are beautiful.

Agreed.love those felines.
Had 19 here one year while I was working for a foster mom program. 24 hr stuff to do for newborns without Mommy's.

My kitty is taking her morning nap while I'm on PC.
She sleeps with me 1/2 the night, then goes hunting till dawn. That's one reason I think the ranch is the best place for pets. Plus no traffic. She's caught a mouse,a rat, a bat, and every day lizards and geckos. 2-3 hummingbirds a week. I'm so proud of her natural abilities. Dog went to beach yesterday,it's good to see her running on the sand and joining me in the surf. She's a blond lab mix. Very calm. Never barks.
