Looking for the perfect snack(s).
No veggie, no sugar, non fattening, fulfilling snacks.
It can't be too hard on my teeth, for obvious reasons. (AGE)
I'm tired of natural cereal, 30cals almond milk and stevia.
And still, I've gained 20 pounds.

Because of the meds, I wake up in the middle of the night to raid the kitchen.
If it can be ready made, even better. I'm tired of cleaning the mess the day after.

I will gladly welcome your appreciated replies. Thank you.
Hugs from:

I really like sunflower seeds, especially when they're roasted and seasoned. The ones I have taste like beef tacos. lol. (I don't think they're meant to taste that way, but they do!) It's like... I get to eat tacos without all the added calories.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I LOVE granola. This cinnamon granola tastes awesome:
Snacks.....

I don't know how to explain the taste, but it tastes really good. I also like regular granolas (like the ones with honey and all that). You can pour in your (low-fat!!) yogurt if you like. It's all low calories and such.

Also, oatmeal is pretty good with milk, cinnamon, and sugar... but I realize that's kinda the same as the cinnamon granola.
Thanks for this!

What about some type of wrap? If you don't want the carbs you can just use lunch meat on the outside.

They do make premade (though probably not quite as healthy) snack wraps. Can be found by the Lunchables. Also something easy to make ahead.

I appreciate the effort. However, the sunflower seeds, even being a wonder food, contain a lot of oil.
The rest at the end, is cereal. I'll look for that brand, just out of curiosity.

The wrap I know, has veggies in it. I'll try to find about it.
Meat I can tolerate. Thanks.

Found some things at Costco, I think they're called "Whisps". They're nothing but little chips so baked Parmesan cheese. That's it. Nothing else. Cheese. Crispy. Lovely. I want more.

Bet you do. I'm a cheese lover too.
The problem is the amount I consume. Remember I'm high from the meds, so no control.
I bet I can eat a tray or bag of those per night.

Wow. We're on to something here. I can boil a dozen, leave it in the carton and my wife can hide the mayo. I buy maple honey chicken from the deli. Maybe fattening still. I can do my own chicken and freeze it.
The cottage cheese is a strech for now. Thank you!.

Get romaine lettuce and fill the individual leaf with something healthy.
I use tuna, no mayo or some pieces of chicken or turkey.
The lettuce leaf acts as a healthy wrap and very tasty.

Weight gain. I don't eat a few. I eat the whole bag or pound in one sitting.
Once I start eating something, I have to finish the package. To the last seed.

Never though of the leaf as a wrapper. The turkey I have neglected, and is probably the best meat for bipolar. L-Thryptophan. Natural, not from pills.
Thanks!.Hope the fishing is good.

Hmmm i binge eat a lot as well, luckily i can exercise a ton to stay in shape. Personally i go with organic peanut butter, cottage cheese, eggs, any unprocessed meats, regular cheese(although easy to binge on), plain greek yogurt. ummmm if i think of anything else i'll let you know. I'm a big guy and love to eat(mostly healthy) so if i think up something more helpful i'll post it.
Thanks for this!

Tomato makes me hungrier. I think I can eat six tomato sanwiches. I use minced garlic and olive oil instead of mayo. Althought mayo is good too.

Granola has been my friend for too long, I pass. Thank you!.

Yogurt is my go-to snack. Also, apples. You can make a quick baked apple dish in the microwave in a bowl with chopped apples, a little orange juice, and lots of cinnamon. I usually bake one apple like that for about 5 minutes. Let it cool for a bit. Yummy!
Thanks for this!

I like liquid yogurt. Once I start drinking that thing, the sky's the limit.

Never new about how to bake the apples. I buy green apples and deep 'em in peanut butter. Thank you!.
