Strangely true! Agreed. I have Dressed to Kill and Definite Article. I love his humor for the way it goes wildly tangential, yet circles around into an oddly coherent whole.
Thanks for this!

I can recommend a movie with my full endorsement: Special Correspondents. It's a Netflix original and is really funny. It's pretty new.

here is a list of series I like that are in Netflix.

Lillehammer (funny)
Derek (funny)
Rita (Danish so in subtitles. Funny with a serious side)
An Idiot Abroad (so funny)
La Promesa (Spanish so in subtitles, intense, serious drama)
Grace and Frankie (cute, funny, has a serious side)
How to get away with murder (drama)
Ripper Street (drama)
Cuckoo (funny)
What's oitnb?

Invader Zim was awesome, and I wish it had not been cancelled. *Sigh*

Oh, another great but short animated show would be Clone High. And then there is a short show called Freaks and Geeks. Both are my favorites from the past.

I am almost finished watching "Mad Dogs" on Netflix. It is about a bunch of old friends getting together at one of the friend's villa in Belize. And then he gets killed. The remaining four end up with a bunch of money that gets them in a bunch of trouble. It's pretty funny and you don't know what is going to happen next.
