Talked to my study coordinator this morning. Got lots of new directions. My poor brain! I have to write it all down! She gave me $40. I'll spend that on the kids.

I covered a meeting for my supervisor where the clients were difficult to work with and litigious and it actually went fine. I also got a lot of report writing done. I had to bring some work home this weekend, but I still feel like I've accomplished a decent amount today.

Decorated the tree with kids to Xmas music. Younger son played carols on the piano. It was heavenly.

cooking chicken broth. I hoped it would give off a wonderful aroma to fill the apartment, but it is not doing it. I think this is because I did not put a bay leaf, so I have added bay leaves to the grocery shopping list I now keep on the fridge.
Talked to dad; aunt and uncle; bff - all on Skype.

I got out of bed after going to bed late to drive through the snow to church with my youngest. (We are in the choir). I so didn't want to crawl out of bed. But we had a special piece of music to sing for one of the clergy so off we went.

At 7am, an hour after getting up this morning, I lay back down on my hospital bed and enjoyed the most wonderful sounds of a summer shower. It was comforting.

Woke up at a reasonable hour. Went to bed at a reasonable hour, woke up for a few hours, said a few prayers. Made some toast and coffee, and took my synthroid. Haven't been taking it for months, and it has probably been throwing off my entire metabolism. Will try to get on the treadmill a little later for a while.
