Very worried about my son

He's home and he's doing much better. It's like he doesn't remember acting bizarrely. Almost time for dinner. He's happy. I'm happy but I'm still getting him in to be seen. Something just isn't right here....

Thank you so much for saying that. We're really close. You should have seen the card he got me for mothers day it was so beautiful....he's a sweet boy or young man now lol. Can't believe he's almost 21.

We're able to get him into one of the good places. Yay! He's on the phone with them right now doing a pre screen. He was mad I called for him but we had to get the ball moving. I hope he tells them about the psychosis...he's in his room. I know, I know, I need to let him do these things on his own.

Your the one telling yourself you have to let him do things on his own. I think if he is needing you to help him get through things, but refuses to disclose completely to them - he is stopping himself from getting all the help he needs with the professionals because he has you to aid him if he falls - that means, you do have some responsibility because you and he expect that you do. If so, then you do also have a responsibility to make sure they have all the information.

Now, sometimes they want to know what family members observe, and I think you should disclose completely whether he wants you to or not.

Yeah I will. I think he is telling them. I hope so at least. I'm going to the intake and the first pdoc appt. Probably all the pdoc appts....
