I'M ****ING BORED MAN!

My family is gone now, visiting my husband's parents who live five hours away.

Initially I was like, SWEET! FREEDOM!

But now I don't know what to do with myself!

I was looking forward to this peace and quiet, but my husband thinks I'm doing pretty bad right now and I can admit that I'm having a situation, and in order for him to go and not stay home, he made me agree to do and not do this whole list of things!

Examples:

I can't go out drinking with my friends. NO ALCOHOL.
I can't write for extended periods of time. (Originally this was don't write at all, but I got him to go a little bit more lenient on it.)
I have to go to bed at midnight.
I have to get eight hours of sleep (haha. lol on this one.).
I can't go to the park.
I have to eat enough because I'm getting too thin.
I have to text him every two hours.
I have to relax.
I have to take my meds as directed.
I can't do positive affirmations or burn paper or do anything to get rid of the negative entity.

Lol. Jeez.

But... I guess I don't blame him. When he visited his parents over Christmas it ended kind of bad.

I can't even go outside and smoke incessantly because there's this enormous hornet that really likes our patio. I can hear it buzzing from a mile away. That's how big it is. It freaks me out. I don't know why. I'm a million times bigger than it. Of course, I don't have a stinger.

Okay. That was my rant.

So... the only things you're allowed to do are: eat, poop, sleep, and TV? That's no fun... although some people really do enjoy their poop time, so IDK.

Edit: I guess you could go shopping. That's another thing you can do
Thanks for this!

I don't have a car. And I hate shopping. It agitates me. Especially clothes shopping. Those lights in the changing rooms, exposing all your fat and cellulite and making your skin look yellow and sickly. Blah! ****ing changing rooms.

I really do like pooping though. No shitting there. Especially the morning poop. lol!

If you want to keep yourself entertained for hours, take a laxative

Sorry you're so bored. How about listening to music and cleaning. Or going for a drive? Cooking or baking? Researching things online that you're interested in? Just some ideas.
Thanks for this!

Don't know where you live but maybe you can take a long walk on the beach
or around the neighborhood. The sunshine will do you good.

I like wine, so my husband pulled up Somm the other night. I didn't know what I would think of it (documentaries aren't my thing), but I liked it! It follows several Sommeliers through the process to become a Master Sommelier.

There's another one, Somm: Into the Bottle - I haven't seen, but I think it's the same creator.

I also have A Ballerina's Tale in my list - I like Misty Copeland and it's her story. I haven't seen it yet, though, so no idea what it's like.
Thanks for this!

You know what else I like to watch, and there are several episodes, so it can kill a lot of time...the Great British Baking Show. It's a competitive baking show, but the people in it are really nice (sometimes the US competition shows are more about the drama & trash talking, which can irritate me).
Thanks for this!

Unfortunately I didn't do that.

However... there is tomorrow night.

I have work tomorrow. Don't want to do that before work. I don't want to be on the john all day.

Haha!

well, if you want to be technical here...

your husband said no alcohol, but he didn't say anything about doing hardcore drugs

though in all seriousness, i like to read wikipedia articles when i'm bored. it's fun when you click "random article"... because you don't know what kind of f***ed up sh*t you're going to get. (and believe me, i've gotten some F***ED UP sh*t.) but that's half the fun

i also browse reddit. they have a cool BP community there
Thanks for this!

Thanks, blue. Lol! You make me geek out. Thanks for the suggestions.

Unfortunately I don't know any drug dealers.

8 hours of sleep! What is he thinking? It never ceases to amaze me when people tell you to sleep for a certain length of time. Like you can just say, "Self, go to sleep" and it's done.
