Latuda is awful at controlling hypo/mania. It's really meant for tackling depression. The manufacturers of Latuda tried to claim that it's a "monotherapy drug" (i.e., that it controls mania and depression), but research studies showed that the majority of bipolar patients who took Latuda said it did not prevent or control their hypo/mania.

If you're only on Latuda and Ativan, I would recommend asking your pdoc for an additional med.
Thanks for this!

Usually I find that its inactivity that causes it. If you lay down too much your body becomes restless, at least that's what happens to me. If you get up and doing a walk around your bedroom like pace a bit to tire yourself out it may help.

Good luck and feel better soon!

The Ativan does help sometimes.
