i think when i get too depressed and to upset about something, i tend to feel too cold... like shivering cold- and the more and more i think about it, it makes sense- like, you know.. not part of this world- left on the outside ![]() but maybe it's just me who experiences it |

Totally happens to me!
When im cold, my mood is off. Not necessarily depressed like you though. Once I got so manic it turned to paranoia and my husband found me in my winter coat 76 degrees in the house in a blanket crying about how cold I was. Feeling cold is now one of my 'things to notice' when im switching moods or getting worse. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |

Whenever my anxiety spirals out of control I get horrible cold sweats. It's like I can't decide if I'm freezing cold or burning hot...and I sweat perfusely. It's horrible.

I suffer this too. I have extreme reactions to heat and cold and they effect my mood. I'm always covering up and shivering and near crying because the cold actually hurts.

I actually feel better the colder I am. Mentally I feel more focused and clear. The hotter I get the more irritable I become.

I recently noticed during a depressive/anxious episode, that cool air felt especially good on my skin. If I'm especially anxious, my arms and hands feel hot.
Sometimes I get chills for no reason, and at times they seem to be during hypomanic episodes. So I guess I'm kind of opposite of you. |

When I'm depressed, I feel pain more accurately. Cold is felt as painful discomfort. I used to love cold and could go out in wet hair and shorts without shoes in the snow with minimal discomfort. Now I get so sensitive in episodes. Mania takes pain away and has me feeling like doing workouts and flips. It's all so strange.

Yep, depression makes me very sensitive to cold. One of the first clues to my husband that I'm depressed is that I start wearing sweaters and bathrobes all the time when it's warm.
