We need some more fun threads around here

What is your favorite dessert? When was the last time you had it?

I really like gold cake with white frosting (or even chocolate cake with white frosting), but I think chocolate mousse is my favorite.. especially with that whipped cream... mmmm

The last time I had it was about a year ago! I've eaten a lot of cake because I usually get it for free, but I want to buy some chocolate mousse!
Thanks for this!

Pudin diplomatico con coco rayao on top. (My recipe, it doesn't have any coconut in it.)
The top part has some similarity to bread puding, the lower part is flan with fruits. Ah, not enough vocabulary to describe. Google it. Its a ton of sugar to DIE FOR.

You Cuban? Or have you eaten it because you live in FL, which is close to Cuba?

I'm latino, but I'm not Cuban, so I've never had it before. Sounds tasty, though!

I'm more Cuban than the palm trees. Yes, it's excellent. Only is complicated to make
commercially. Even in Miami is hard to find. I woundn't dare to try to cook it. And I make a very mean flan. Family heirloom from my mother. Who will be 103 soon.
My kids think they have the recipe, but they don't. Only I do. In my death bed I'll pass it on.

Does anyone actually eat spotted d*ck?

It sounds like a horrible illness that I wouldn't wish on anybody
Thanks for this!

I don't really eat flan (probably cos all the "flans" suck around here), but I will eat flan if it's well made. I'd probably try the pudín diplomático con coco rayado.

I don't eat too many latino dishes. I'm actually not a huge fan of latino food in general. lol. I disappoint my culture
