I'm talking with my neighboor's friend and we started talking about dogs and cats.
Me "I like dogs and hate cats". The guy "I have a cat and they are so adorable."
" You don't own cats, they own you." "Not mine. she comes to me all the time".
"Yes, to get fed and brushed." "Otherwise they're good for nothing" "My dogs will give their life for me". "If I let 'em lose they will bite all of you on command".
"If they bite me, I'll shoot them." "If you shoot 'em I'll shoot you."
"Then I'll shoot you and the dogs". "Wanna try?" "are you armed.?"
"Not right now." "Then you lost." "See, dog people are always armed."
Besides, who wants a box full of sshit in their house, cat people do have one".
"That's is bs!" "No is cs." Are you serious". "No, I'm kidding, of course".
He gave me a way out. I won already.
Why can't I at least shut up!!.

I'd prefer a seeing eye dog over a cat, but otherwise, they both have a purpose. That box of crap in people's house could be therapuedic like a sand garden.

My cats keep me calm just like my dog does. I know some people just don't like cats meanwhile others don't like dogs. Personal choice

I like both. If I could I'd have a big dog, but I don't know if I could keep up with a dog. A dog is like a child, with a need for socializing and activity.

A cat is like a roommate who comes to you for snuggles and can be played with from the couch, but needs their own time as well. They are also independent and I can leave them in the house alone for longer periods of time, unlike a dog.

I do miss dogs. I'm getting a cat.
Thanks for this!

I like both, but my temperament is best with cats. Dogs require a lot of attention, and it's hard for me to give it, so I stick with cats. Cats are more independent, although mine are very affectionate.
