The first day of summer was June 20th, which means summer just started.

What are your summer goals? How will they help with your BP?

I believe that having a good set of goals can help improve overall mood. Specifically, driving yourself to do something and actually completing it gives you a sense of accomplishment, and that accomplishment can really help boost your mood. I think it promotes good mental health.

Personally, I think year-long goals are a pain in the ***. It's hard to stick to goals like that... but summer? Summer is short and perfect for setting short-term goals! I shall post mine soon...

Examples:
- Lose weight
- Find a BP cocktail that works for you
- Win a competition or tournament
- Start a new hobby

Regulate my sleep as much as possible. I need to figure out a strategy.

Stay smoke-free. I'm on week four no cigarettes.

Decide about getting a therapist. I have trust issues due to an unethical therapist. Five years with that therapist and shattered. I don't know if I am able to start all over again with someone new. I've tried three times since but didn't click with those therapists. Pdoc wants me back in therapy.

Spend time doing things with my family - boyfriend and my daughter. I isolate and have some agoraphobic tendencies.

Read more books
