... I told him I can't cuz my bipolar hurts lol. No really not funny though. Just took two klonopin because I'm crying freaking out about all these issues. My bfs like "you did so good yesterday! What now?!" He just doesn't get that I don't get to chose what I wake up to. I never know what im going to get. I can't possibly imagine working a job right now and waiting on SSI process. I can't even get out of bed to piss let alone go to a 9-5. This sucks. Just needed to vent.

Edit: I started Latuda a few days ago... When the hell will I start to feel better?!

I should also state that im adjusting from quitting my trileptal do to a bad side effect that sent me to ER. So in dealing with mood swings. I have a pdoc appointment Friday but I want to stay away from the traditional stabilizers because I'm also starting birth control and you can't mix those. So my moods are out of wack big time

I'm sorry things are **** right now. It took about a week and a half to start feeling the effects of the Latuda but a bit over a month to get the full effect and they then upped my dose and I felt better at the higher dose

I hope you feel better soon. People that don't have bipolar have trouble understanding that things can be going fine and then you crash. And during a med change while you feel lousy ... that's a time where you need to chill and rest, period. I hope the Latuda kicks in soon.

One time my ex hypothesized that my lethargy, anxiety and four month depressive episode were actually just med side effects. lol I was feeling horrible for months, slogging through my work day and just "done" at the end of each day.

He said it's your meds and that if you quit them you'll be "normal" again. This was fairly early on in my diagnosis, almost a year. But really? That's a pipe dream. He was so obtuse, I was seriously underwhelmed. lol

Take care and hang in there.

I do hope your meds kick in soon. Sounds like a rough score to change meds like that.
