Been a good long while since I visited. I hope all is well is pc land.

There's been all kinds of highs and lows throughout my absence. I got promoted, had my job eliminated and knocked down to the bottom rung of the ladder, I got married, got laid off, got brought back, found out we were pregnant, put our house up for sale and took it back off the market.

But somehow, through all of that, I've been able to remain stable. I've fought off the darkness of depression, not turned to booze to find the answers to all the problems, and not let the racing thoughts get the best of me.

And although I know my condition and resulting past actions helped make problems worse, I have not dwelled on it or let it bring me down, its all about moving forward.

I contribute some of my successes to the people here and what they were able to help me realize and learn about myself and the way this disorder affects me.

Thanks everybody

Good to see you again manicminer. Congrats on coming out on top after such a storm. I agree, some of the people who are/were here have helped immensely. I drop in from time to time but what I have taken away with me from the time spent here has helped more then any professional. Nice to hear you are doing well.

OMG!!!

I was so happy when I saw your post. I just recently started frequenting this forum again myself, so it is great to see an old friend. Even better to see that you are doing well. You were always very empathetic and encouraging towards me, and you are part of how PC helped me hold on through the severe depression I got hit with my sophomore year of college. So great to see you!

Wow! What an awesome surprise!!!

Congrats on the sobriety, the mini ManicMiner, and the wife.

And special kudos to you for doing it... All of it. Managing through the ups and downs and the unknown. Then still coming out on top!

Really good to see you post, I've missed your presence here.

I was so happy to see your name on the postings again. Had to go back & find when you came back & what you have been up to.....I can see....lots of things over the 2 years you have been away. BTW....you were missed!!!!

So wonderful to hear that you made it through the ups & downs without alcohol messing it up. Congratulations on the marriage & little one on the way.....you have successfully come a long way over the time you have been away.

Good to have you back & posting & bringing us up to speed on your happenings
