I started taking Depakote last night and today I am very agitated. Could this be the medication already or just me?? I really hope this works ugh

I wouldn't blame the meds yet. If yoou still feel like it in a week call pdoc.

Some ppl have an agitated reaction to Depakote.
It's very important to check-in with the prescribing doctor and/or your pharmacist. If you are one of the ppl having an agitated reaction, you should not wait to inform your doctor. The forum can be supportive, yet it's not the best place to check on drug reactions, as everyone has different reactions. We are not trained nor licensed in psychopharmacology, nor do we know the nuances of your patterns, nor the nuances of any drug. You can educate yourself to some degree by reading up on info on a drug site like: drugs.com or a different site; yet, it's still critical to check in with the prescribing doctor.  Just waiting for call back.
