Anyone ever have their t suggest trying EFT to help with any signs or symptoms of any part of your illness? I'm just wondering what people's experience has been with it. She had me try it in her office today and it seems extremely odd, but she swears it works. I told her I would at least give it a try.
On another note, she thinks I'm way too hard on myself and need to stop. Well...DUH!!! That's part of the reason I'm there, to seek help from all the negativity. She also says that the thoughts and feelings I've been having the last few days in regards to feeling as if someone is watching me, or is in the room when I'm home alone sounds like my anxiety is really kicking in. I just wish I could figure out who it is :-(

Is this the tapping stuff? Pseudoscience but it could be helpful if doing it helps you to relax or something like that. If it helps you to feel centered, maybe.

It is the whole tapping thing. Apparently the areas you tap are trigger points that are supposed to help you think more positively, at least that's what I understood from my t.

I had a t that tried it with me and it wasn't helpful at all. I really wanted to believe in it because I would rather get results with tapping than meds but for me it was of no help.
