What to do when you can't sleep? I am on day two, not tired in the least. I don't know how much more TV I can watch, can't focus enough to read. Tried meditating but my head is not in the right place. I should put down my laptop probably. Gah I can't be coming undone, I have had too long of a stretch of stability to accept this.

Could it be withdrawals from titrating off Klonopin?

It could be I guess, I haven't stepped down in over a month though. Maybe it is anxiety about my next step in a week? I had a hallucination, well a couple tho past weekend. I have not slept since. Whats weird is that I am fully functional during the work day, with no symptoms of mania yet.

i would suggest taking whatever you can to try and sleep. lay in bed. no sleep doesnt always leed to mania. i had insomnia without mania and I was told I was having a psychotic depression. I wasnt fully functional though. But functional enough to get by.

I know now that I am not right. Just saw a man walk down my hall. I am the only one awake.

How many days without sleep has it been. It is a concern that you saw that man. Can you call your pdoc and see what they think is going on. Hope you get some rest and go well at work in the morning.

when i can't sleep (which is most of the time), i usually end up reading. if i have a book to read, i always wait for the night to read any of it.. never during the day- as it's something to help me through the night

or i watch something on tv

sometimes just get up and go on the computer.

sleep is not a word found in my dictionary
