Yes. I had a bizarre symptom the other day. I am tempted to just write it off as a weird one-time thing. But maybe I should tell pdoc. Or maybe see if it happens again. It will worry him. Maybe just a fluke...

I have ECT in a few days. I shouldn't be anxious, but my nerves are up nonetheless. I wish there were someone I could talk to about this.

I wonder why there has to be such a thing as pancreatic cancer, and why it doesn't cause symptoms until it's too late to cure it.

It bothers me that my daughter's best friend is in the vicinity of a large tornado. I do hope he stays safe. This is his first year in college and he's away from home.

The tornados happening today have been nuts! Hope everything misses your daughter's friend.

Yeah, NATO is sleepwalking into a nuclear confrontation with Russia. I heard a really good interview today in which Dmitry Orlov, an expatriate Russian intellectual who I really respect, said that the Russian population is preparing for war.

Not to make light but I miss drinking "Five Hour Energy" My primary told me not to drink it because of being diagnosed with Bipolar. I am really missing the jolt it gives me. Well there other sources of caffeine. Oh well life goes on.

The interview sounds very interesting. Is it online, NPR, elsewhere? The future is so uncertain and it seems changes are afoot. Thanks for posting this.

My pleasure. Check out his blog at ClubOrlov.blogspot.com. He describes himself as a 'Connoisseur of Collapse' and is so certain of global economic collapse that he lives with his family on a boat. He revealed during this interview that he might eventually settle in Russia on the border with the Baltic States, which was a surprise. Maybe he's finally grown tired of living on a boat waiting for everything to collapse. He's very confident that Americans have seriously underestimated the Russian military and their ability to wage electronic, conventional and nuclear warfare and NATO incursion into Russian territory would certainly result in either a nuclear exchange that will end civilization (and kill millions of Americans 30 minutes after it starts) or, to deliberately avoid nuclear escalation, a bloody, protracted conventional war that NATO would lose in complete humiliation. He mentions specific weapons systems and strategies to support his very disturbing conclusions.

We assume that because we spend half our GDP on our military/industrial complex and we are constantly reassured that we are the best and the brightest and we engage in a series of wars against weaker countries which we have no chance of losing (and yet, somehow, we have anyway), that we can take on a superpower with untold advantages in innovative weaponry, the largest nuclear stockpile on earth and a military culture and history of repelling invasions by luring the invaders a few thousand kilometers into their home terrain and then slaughtering them. All of them.

It has been a difficult summer for me. My house was damaged in the June 23 flood. I thought that FEMA would help me repair my house but they only gave me $2100 and that doesn't begin to cover the damages. I have cried more this summer than I have cried in my lifetime.

I was told by the second FEMA representative that came to my house to get contractors estimates for repairs and file an appeal and after that apply for a SBA loan and if SBA denies me ask FEMA for help for third time.

It sounds good in theory but I am having lots of difficulty obtaining estimates becauses contractors are very busy with widespread damages plus when I had a HVAC guy here four weeks ago he said he would send me an estimate by email (that he never sent). He does not return my voicemails. I think when he saw how small my crawlspace is he thought he would rather take easier jobs than mine.

I called the SBA department of FEMA to make sure I haven't missed a deadline and I was told that my income was too low for a loan. What?! The people who need it most don't qualify because we our income is too low. I asked if I could get a cosigner for the loan and initially they said yes but then said no. I was told FEMA had "locked me out" of a loan and was told to call a FEMA supervisor. Monday I was told they would email my request and a supervisor would return my call; they didn't.

To top if all off some of my family do not understand my situation. I told my dad I did not qualify for a loan because of my low income and he said, do you think maybe your income is too high? Sure, dad, I am on disability income and my son lost his job because the bridge washed out in the shopping plaza where he worked at KMart, we are rolling in money.

I have had donations of food, water and cleaning supplies and had volunteers remove my muddy, wet insulation but I have no money for repairs. Money was tight before the flood and now it is very difficult and I don't know what to do. I had applied for a job in the nearby library but did not even get an interview. I cannot stand for long intervals so going back to my career in nursing is unlikely.

I am overwhelmed.

I spilled my Lamictal pills on the floor -- all 270 of them! (I have a 3-month's supply)

damn! now they got dirt and hair and dust and other crap on them. nooooo! probably bug juice as well (cos I bet I stepped on a bug or something and then it got smeared all over the floor.. something like fire ant juice, I bet!)

I would wash them off, but, you know... they'll melt! damn bug juice and sh*t...

So the car that hit us was insured but the insurance is fighting paying because it's title was someone else's name The damages are $4,000 but if they do pay they're only paying $1,200. So we had to strip it today to scrap it.

My son's messing around with his school work so I have no idea whether it's just to hard or if it's just him messing around.

My Geodon makes me nauseous if I don't take it on time. Oh well it did that last time I was on it too, but it was way worse as a 13yr old experiencing that, now that I'm 24 it isn't that bad, just annoying, but if the med will hopefully work for me than I'll heal with a little neasea, still not as bad as when I took Latuda...
