Its been a few weeks since I was manic. Im still having hypo symptoms. I'm not sure my piercing was a wise purchase. I bought my daughter a new phone plus added her to my plan. (she was on my mom"s). It IS her birthday right? Im better than I was 2 weeks ago but not perfect. Thoughts?

I hate coming down from mania. I can relate since I've been reflecting on my last manic episode. I made a lot of unwise purchases and decisions over spring and beginning of summer....then I felt sort of hypo before experiencing what might have been a mixed episode before crashing. A few months ago while manic, I bought airline tickets for me and someone I only knew for a short period of time, and the trip completely fell apart.

I was so impulsive and look back on all of my mistakes while manic, but I try not to be so hard on myself. I hope you feel supported by your doctor and others who can help you during this time, since I know it is difficult to have regrets and question decisions. I wish you well ((HUGS))
Thanks for this!

I also came down from mania and also still had hypo symptoms and I'm regretting my purchases as well, I bought 4 hats, what am I going to do with 4 hats??? I don't even like hats. I also bought a ton of clothes that I will probably never wear, cosmetics etc. It could have been worse but I'm broke anyway. Like xRavenx said, we are too hard on ourselves, we are allowed to make mistakes as well, we are not perfect.

I got two tattoos and two piercings when I was manic. I won't bother talking about the shopping that made me want to cry later. One involved a new car this was in July. I'm doing good on piercings tho. I've actually let some close up all but two. I had three facial and one tongue. I texted my mom last night and told her not to tell me about anymore sales at all! I know this is a battle for all of us. Stay strong and keep your head up
