I am experiencing difficulty in obtaining Life Insurance (the quotes I've received are for very high premium) can anyone help or point me in the right direction please?

If you have BP, getting life insurance is a near impossibility. Or you have to deal with extremely high rates, as you've found. Sorry, but it's just the way it is with this. So many of us commit suicide that it's a high risk scenario.

I can't figure that out. I thought policies didn't pay out in the case of suicide...so there's no reason that should boost premiums. Am I wrong about their payouts?

Policies usually have a waiting period before they pay on suicide. Like a year or two then they pay after that.
